TeamWS Hong Kong Teaching Event on 15/01/2011

Seem like the guys from HKWS Team had a great turnout last week when they held a teaching session for new players of Weiβ Schwarz over in Hong Kong! They managed to get 2 classrooms in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and had both lectures and tutorial sessions. Lecture session to introduce the game to interested players, and tutorial sessions to go into details of the game.

From their feedback, it seems that almost 120 beginners turned up for the sessions! It was beyond their expectations so the team had to split the lecture session into 3 seperate classes. Even then, some of the players had to stand for most parts of the lecture.

Let's take a look at some of the photos from that day:

Ifrict, our head lecturer for the day XD
Not only does he introduce the game, from the slides it seemed like he was introducing the history of our company as well ^_^b

The classes were so full, some of the students had to stand in the corners.
Sorry, guys... T_T

007_sa.jpg
I wonder if the same people are so attentive in their regular classes XD
Oh, and what were the 2 guys doing on the left of this photo??
Come on, this is a WS lecture, not AlicexCross... O_o

003_sa.jpg
There were more students waiting outside to attend the lecture... looks like you could be a great lecturer in the future, Ifrict Xp

Here's a photo from the other classroom, where tutorial sessions went on the entire day.

This is a great way for the beginners to pick up the game. Nothing like playing the game first hand to remember the rules.

At certain points where there were too many students, some of the staff on that day had to teach 3~4 students at 1 go...

Seems like it was a great day for the players in Hong Kong to learn more about WS. And a great thanks to the Team for holding this session. Now, if only some girls turned up for the event... oh well, there's always next time! XD

Calvin-
Oh, and how do the teaching sessions look like in Canada?
Do send us a few photos if you have any Xp
Well, if it looked like this without a distributor over there then it would be a great achievement!

Sakota-
Oh, you left Japan for Hong Kong already? Or are you having your break right now?

for that two guys, in fact they were dealing with the problem of the air-contitioning switch at that time...

Wow WS is really popular in HK.
I know, because i was there last summer ^_^

I'm so envious~
I wish WS would be as popular as in HK all over the world :D

I'm so proud of Team HK, hope to get there soon again or better to WGP 2011 xD

@terence:
Actually I was only staying at Japan for 3 months, and now I'm moving on to study back in Australia. But I'm currently in the process of bringing my stuff over from HK.

Impressive, very impressive!
And reminds me a little bit of a certain Duel Academy... xD

It'd be cool if we could manage to draw that many players in to Weiß Schwarz here in Germany. Sometime in the future maybe. ^^

Sōji-
What? The BL part? Or the whole session XD

Hikari-
Well, it takes time but there are some countries with a turnout like that already. Hopefully the game will continue to expand overseas.

shuncchi-
Yes, it should... but it could turn out to be the shortest course in the world... XD

Sakota-
Lol, it has been 3 months already!? Time flies really fast when you are busy, I guess... Which part of Australia this time?

Gunbladeuser-
Yes, keep the sessions going and hopefully more players will join in. Might be in the spring or summer? I heard it's really cold over there right now... T_T

Terence: It's Sydney. Close but not close enough to Melbourne. But at least there's some players to play with over here.

Sakota-
Good luck with your studies ^_^b
Well, hopefully the shop in Melbourne will be able to expand business to Perth and Sydney soon!
The next best thing will of course be to start your own community. Who knows, we might have a representative from Australia this year for WGP 2011! Xp

Robostrike

@Calvin
There were a small number of new players (only like 3)... so I hope to host a massive WS presentation for new members but in due time (hopefully before Anime North 2011) ^^.

Robostrike-
Do let us know when the plans are fixed. I'm sure the readers from Canada will be interested to attend ^_^
