Might not be the "best" to introduce as a national food...? but looks yummy!
The left is half-boiled egg belnded with soy source and black peppers, and the other is "Kaya" sandwich.
"Kaya" is a sweetened cocont paste which is a bit similar to Japanese bean paste "Anko."
Yet as the texture is like condensed milk, it tastes just like sweet "tea with milk" if you pour some into a cup of tea.
I wonder if "Kaya" is available in other countries...but hope you try it some day!
