Bushiroad in TOKYO GAME SHOW 2009!!

From 24/09-27/09, we exhibited at TOKYO GAME SHOW 2009 held at Makuhari Messe, an international exhibition centre which locates in Makuhari, Chiba pref.
This time, we separated our booth into 2 sections, "Weiß Schwarz"(to the left) exhibition&play space and "Alice×Cross" space (to the right).



In the middle, we made a sales space, and a lot of fans came to buy their favouite cards.



In WS space, we featured "THE iDOLM@STER," "Disgaea,""THE KING OF FIGHTERS," and "Sengoku BASARA" while (as you know) they are all titles from computer games.

we have pre-released the stater of "Vitamin X" a very popular computer game in which handsome boys with a little problem each appears, and alot of girls dropped on our booth to see the exhibition and short PR movies.

I think many of the WS fans are waiting for Nanoha and Fate Extrapacks which are going to be out in the market in December.

Also, we hope the release of Harihi will attract a lot of players.

The 1st WS event by 通用 and team WS, including workshop was held in Hong Kong on 20th September.

Dicken, one of the hosts told us 30 people were waiting already 30 minutes before the opening time, and as many as 72 people, including 40 biginners came to join the event.

Also, Ifrict, also one of the hosts tokd us that in no time after the opening, almost all the seats preapred were taken, and the teaching session area was always overloaded with the new players.

We were really glad to see that the event has attaracted so many new players, and would like to thank you to all the 15 members who helped out the event, and the players who made time for playing WS.

We would like to support WS events in Hong Kong further, and hope to see more ans more new players in future.

A WS event report has just arrived from Hong Kong!
The event was held at American Sportswear Trading, the shop where they have good playing space.
As many as 24 people, including 3 new players gathered to play in the tournament, and there were seats even outside the shop.

A report of "THE IDOLM@STER" cup held on 12th and 13th September has just arrived from Singapore!

The 2-days running event was held by The Card Geeks, an official WS supporter in Singapore.
Unfotunately, there is no photo this time, but they have given us an excellent report!

The participants per day is limited to 16 people, and they have played WS with point-scoring system.

Even though the number of attendants were not so large, Yong Han, the event host told us that the tournaments were a great success, and attracted all the players.

He told me that all 32 boxes of "THE IDOLM@STER" boosters he prepared for the events were sold out during these 2 days!

They are going to hold events in October as well, so I will update the schedule very soon!

Yesterday, we welcomed visitors from Hong Kong!
Silver and Yip, who helped us a lot during our business trips there.
(Good player of WS!)

They had been visiting Japan, and came to our office on the final day of their stay.
We enjoyed Japanese lunch together:)

On 6th september, a WS tournament was held at American Sportswear Trading, co.
The event was from 13:00-16:00, and 18 players including 3 new ones gathered to play WS.

LP and Yip, veteran WS players also participated to the matches to arouse the event!







They are going to have following events on 12th and 20th, hope you will join them!

On 30th August, one of WS fans in California, U.S., hold a WS workshop at a card game shop called Black Diamond Games.





Though WS has not yet officially sold in America, as many as 5 players ( in total, 8 players) came to the event to play WS.
Nicolas, who sent us the report told us that they used the translated rules made by WSNK, an official WS supporter in Singapore.
Now, only "Disgaea -hours of darkness-" is translated into English, but we hope that English version of other titles are also sold in the near future.

We have recently prepared English rule books and play sheets for international players, so please contact us at info@bushiroad.com (write your name and e-mail address) if you want to have a workshop and need them for the event.

Bushiroad will support all the fans overseas as well as Japanese fans!

On 14th August, the last title of WS for 2009 was made public at Comic Market 76 held in Tokyo Big Site.
It is--- "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu."

At Comic Market, we dealt out Bushiroad free magazines with "Haruhi" illustration on the top page, and the fans who made queues at our booth seemed really surprised when they received the magazines.
